2013 AASL Conference on Nov 15 – Hartford, CT

On November 15, I spent the day at the Exhibit Hall at the American Association of School Librarians (AASL) Conference, held this year in Hartford, CT.  Don’t you just love the energy in the atmosphere at conferences?

My book, Until the Robin Walks on Snow, was on display at the Combined Book Exhibit booth. In the photo, you can spy Robin just left of me (link to photos below).

After walking around and chatting with other exhibitors in the morning, I joined my SU iSchool colleague, Blythe Bennett, at the School’s booth where I signed books.  Though I teach often in the graduate summer program at SU, geography separates me from most of the school faculty and staff, so it was great to have the opportunity to jibber-jabber with faculty attending the conference, lots and lots of alumni that stopped by, and many conferees interested in learning more about the school’s outstanding graduate, certificate, and Ph.D. programs. My thanks to the Syracuse University iSchool for hosting me.

Here’s the link to the photos I posted on my Facebook author page. I have brought you to the photo album location in case you’d like to wander among some of the photos of my other adventures, including my June 2013 heritage trip to Lithuania.
